OfferOut of stock
After what seemed like an eternity, Lenovo announced the release of their latest budget offering, the Lenovo K320t. It is one of the many devices that have jumped abroad the bezel-less bandwagon, offering a panel that is mostly absent of bezels (mostly being the key word here). The bezel-less design trend was one of the best things to happen to the smartphone industry and we hope that devices across all segments catch on and ditch the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio screens, eventually.
Display and Camera
The Lenovo K320t features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1440×720 (18:9 aspect ratio, 282ppi pixel density). The screen is absent of any Gorilla Glass protection, so you’re better off relying on third-party solutions to protect it. The primary camera is a dual 8+2-megapixels with LED flash, which is impressive, considering the price. The secondary camera is 8-megapixels. The dual camera setup on the K320t looks promising and has the potential to make a splash in the budget smartphone camera segment.
Hardware and Software
The Lenovo K320t is powered by an unknown Spreadtrum SoC clocked at 1.4GHZ along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD expansion. We’re not entirely sure why Lenovo chose a Spreadtrum chip for the K320t, as they’re not exactly the best around and easily outperformed by competitors’ chips. The battery is a 3,000mAh Li-ion unit which will very likely not support fast charging method. The fingerprint sensor is front mounted, sitting right under the on-screen navigation buttons. The Lenovo K320t is expected to run Android nougat 7.0 out of the box.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The feature-set on the Lenovo K320t is standard, with support for two SIM cards, 4G and VoLTE compatibility, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. Barring the Spreadtrum SoC, the Lenovo K320t looks promising for a budget device.
